San Jose
I would love to just sit in some cafe or communal center and talk philosophy with random people. I’ve recently been going through Stanford’s encyclopedia of philosophy and the articles are really interesting.
Monterey Park
So much traveling! I have such a love for historical architecture, and a fascination with different cultures. I'd want to eat everything, learn different cultural norms and try out new activities. Like, I've never been horse-riding but I do archery. It'd be cool to get to try archery practice on a horse. Or snowboarding. I've never tried mountains outside of California so that sounds like a fun trip too.
Rosemead
I would spend time with people who I enjoy their company doings things both of us loved.
Orange
I would spend my time learning languages and linguistics - both are so fascinating to me! and I really believe that learning languages opens one's mind to new ideas/philosophies via access to other cultures
San Mateo
I would invest more heavily into a plethora of hobbies. I want to take lessons in every musical instrument, learn every type of martial art, improve my baking and cooking skills, learn pottery, etc. the list goes on. I guess this also implies I had the money to support these hobbies, but definitely would want to become a jack of all trades, maybe even a master of some.
Irvine
I would tinker with fun and rewarding projects alongside friends and family. The drive to "make stuff" is far too strong to give up entirely. It's how I spent my childhood summers, after all. I’d also take up a more time-consuming and rewarding hobby, like surfing or learning to pilot an airplane. I’d love to start and end my day slowly—drinking coffee and chatting with family and friends in the morning, and enjoying a beer or wine at night. I also miss the ability to be spontaneous. Being an adult often means everything needs to be coordinated and diligently planned, especially when you have kids. That takes some of the spark out of life for me.
Costa Mesa
Go to the beach and play lots of beach volleyball. Then take my time relaxing in the hot tub. I would also want to go to as many music festivals as I can, then spend the next day binge watching shows to recover lol
Irvine
Snorkeling and napping during the day and drawing after sunset. My husband and I are trying to bring small pieces of those fun things to our lives. Recently bought four 36 x 48 empty canvases. They are still lying in our living room. We need acrylic brushes and paints.
San Francisco
I like themed and silly things a lot, so I would be planning more weird experiences for myself where we wouldn't take ourselves so seriously, like an art gallery opening with MS paint submissions only, a surrealist escape room, SciFi conventions, etc. I would probably also try my hand at writing and making a comic book.
Mission Viejo
Spending hours a day just riding around on a bike (preferably an e-bike) to see the sights, visit friends and enjoy our amazing weather.
